§ 1.01. Creation and corporate name.

All the inhabitants of the City of Clute in Brazoria County, Texas, as the boundaries and limits of said city are herein established, or may hereafter be established, shall be a body politic and corporate, and the name of said municipality shall be the City of Clute.
