§ 38-41. Violation of promise to appear; penalty.

Any person willfully violating a written promise to appear in the municipal court given as provided in section 38-40 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor regardless of the disposition of the case wherein he is charged with the violation set forth in such notice, and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $500.00.
